A. In Fall 2025, team fees are $250 per player for Freshman/JV White/JV Green players. Team fees are $300 for Varsity players.
This fee covers the costs of transportation to games outside of Ann Arbor and other expenses associated with the Huron soccer program. Our freshman, goalkeeping, and assistant coaches are paid by the team fees. The team fee also covers the summer fitness program, summer open play, fall season, winter futsal, spring open play, and small group training in the off-season.
B. High School Student Fees: There is also an annual Sport Fee of $250 which includes all three sports seasons: Fall, Winter, and Spring. In addition, all students are also required to pay a $15 non-refundable AAPS insurance fee. The total Pay-to-Participate fee is $265 per student*, which is paid directly to AAPS.
*Note: Students participating in the Freshman team are only required to pay the $15.00 non-refundable AAPS insurance fee and are exempt from the Pay- to- Participate $250 Sport Fee. The Freshman team is considered a “club” sport. All costs for the Freshman team are covered by the men’s soccer program.
Scholarships/Fee Waivers
Families requesting a waiver for the PTP Sport Fee must provide documentation to their school’s athletic office of one of the following: An AAPS Free/Reduced Lunch Letter or Proof of a Current Rec & Ed Scholarship. Staff at your athletic office will give you a discount coupon code for on-line registration. The code you are given will automatically reduce your PTP Sport Fee by 50% or 100%.

(Please indicate on the scholarship form or attach a note that you are interested in waiving the Pay-to-Participate Sport Fee). Only one scholarship application is needed per household.
Rec & Ed accepts scholarship applications in person during office hours at the Rec & Ed office, by mail, by email scholarships@aaps.k12.mi.us or in our secure 24-hour drop box in the entrance of our office. It takes 5-7 business days to process scholarship applications with all completed documentation.
